Accreditation Process


The main stages of the accreditation process are the following:

1. The applicant submits its completed application form
2. Self-Assessment Document (SAD) is prepared by the higher education institution
3. AROQA coordinator is assigned to the applicant institution
4. International peer review of SAD
5. Site visit to the commissioning institution
6. Review report will be submitted by reviewers
7. Accreditation Board decision which could result in either of the following:
    • Accreditation
    • Conditional accreditation
    • Suspension of the procedure
    • Denial of accreditation 
      The applicant will be notified of the reason of the decision in writing.
8.Follow-up and continuous improvement



Accreditation Board

Acreditation Board is composed of highly respected individuals with significant experience in management and education. It evaluates the peer review reports on programs that are applying for accreditation and, based on their recommendations, makes the final decision to confer accreditation upon those programs or institutions that have demonstrated the required level of implementation of quality standards.
